Die Welt verändern...

Vocational School vorübergehend geschlossen

In einer e-mail aus Accra berichtet Hezekiah Samwini von der Situation in Ghana:

Covid-19 has affected everything in Ghana including (partly) the Vocational School. Ghana has 313 cases as of today, with 6 deaths.  Most of the cases are in Accra(274) and Kumasi(25). The two cities are currently under lockdown. I am in Accra at the moment so I have been indoors for 10days now. The situation is better in Tamale. There have been 10 cases in Tamale, and all 10 are Guineans who travelled into Tamale. They were detected early on arrival and isolated so there has been no community spread in Tamale so far. All schools are closed including the Vocational School. The government is preparing for the worst, so all public gatherings are banned all over the country so we now have church on TV and on the internet. Details of the situation in Ghana can be found here: https://www.ghanahealthservice.org/covid19/

Although the Vocational School has closed contruction on the permanent structures continue. A carpenter began work there this week. I will get you pictures from the site by the end of the month.
